最近看到Mitch Albom 的 Tuesdays with Morrie, 其中講及Marriage.
教授說在愛和婚姻中有一些基本原則是不能缺少的: 1) 學會尊重, 尊重別人; 2) 學會妥協; 3) 能夠坦誠傾訴兩人之間的問題; 4) 大家有一套相同的價值觀. 我深感同意.
當我反思這些原則, 我深深明白到為甚麼我們不能再一起.
"There are a few rules I know to be true about love and marriage: If you don't respect the other person, you're gonna have a lot of trouble. If you don't know how to compromise, you're gonna have a lot of trouble. If you can't talk openly about what goes on between you, you're gonna have a lot of trouble. And if you don't have a common set of values in life, you're gonna have
a lot of trouble. Your values must be alike."
不止婚姻，穩固深厚的關係也應如是。
